How does Pure work?
Choose an image, then tap or click Clean. When it’s ready, save the clean copy or share it.
What does Pure remove?
Pure removes hidden AI tags inside the file, such as AI labels, Content Credentials, and location and camera details. It also removes some invisible watermarks, when it can detect them.
Will my image look different?
No. Pure only removes hidden data inside the file, so your picture looks the same. If an invisible watermark can’t be removed without changing how your image looks, Pure leaves it and tells you.
Which images can I clean?
PNG, JPG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF, TIFF, GIF and BMP images. Each image must be under 16 MB, and you can clean up to 20 at a time.
Does Pure remove visible logos or text?
No. Pure doesn’t change what you can see in the picture. Visible logos, text and marks stay as they are.
Does Pure remove every invisible watermark?
No. Pure removes only the invisible watermarks it can detect. Some, like Google’s SynthID, aren’t removed, so an image may still be recognized as made with AI.
Where are my cleaned images?
On iPhone, iPad and Mac, they’re kept in the Pure app on your device. On the web, they’re kept in your browser, and clearing your browser data removes them. Images don’t sync between devices, so save or download the ones you want to keep.
